I’m hoping to study Classical Studies and English Literature at A-Level, with a dream of becoming a writer and journalist one day. I’m especially drawn to classical novels and older texts. The kind of books that feel just as alive now as they did when they were first written, and I love thinking about how stories from the past still shape the way we read, write, and create today.

Alongside writing, music is a huge part of my life. I play the piano and recently sat my Grade 2 exam, and I also play guitar. I love vintage music as much as modern, and I spend a lot of time at open mic nights, where performing has helped me grow more confident in sharing my work.

I’m also involved in drama and youth theatre, which has deepened my love of storytelling, character, and voice. Whether that’s on stage, on the page, or through music.

Away from books and performances, I have a real love for vintage fashion, old recipes and comforting foods, and all the small, beautiful details that feel a little timeless. These things often find their way into my writing too.
