Welcome to A Study In Ink

Hi, I'm Tallulah. I'm 15, turning 16 this year, and living in the Lake District. I created this blog as place to share the stories, ideas and interests that I keep coming back to: interesting stories from the past, the music I love and analysis's on the books and films that stay with me long after I finish them.

I've always had a deep interest, love and appreciation for both literature and history, and I spend the majority of my time writing, reading and researching. Since I was a little girl, I've been the kind of person who reads till I fall asleep and happily wears out my parents, dragging them around museums, determined to take in as much as my brain can handle.

In the future, I hope to pursue a career in journalism, and I plan to study English Literature and Classical Studies at A level later this year. To me, A Study In Ink is a space to write about what interests me and to share ideas and writing that, for a long time, existed only for myself.
